Allen Pu brings an entrepreneurial background to his role as a portfolio manager on the international equity team in the US. Allen joins Dimensional from the California Institute of Technology, where he received ten US patents from separate stints as a staff researcher and product manager for a gaming startup company based on technologies developed at the university. In between, he spent four years making venture capital investments for Mellon Ventures.
Allen earned an MBA in finance and entrepreneurial studies from the Anderson School of Management at the University of California, Los Angeles. He also holds an M.S. and a Ph.D. in electrical engineering from Caltech and a B.S. in electrical engineering from the Cooper Union for the Advancement of Science and Art.
