L. Jacobo Rodríguez has written articles and research papers for Dimensional's Institutional Services group since 2004. He brings a keen interest in economics and the history of economic thought. Prior to Dimensional, he served for ten years at the Cato Institute as a policy analyst in a number of areas, including international economics, financial regulation, monetary policy, and the Project on Global Economic Liberty. During that time, Jacobo also edited book reviews for the Cato Journal.
Jacobo has published articles in leading newspapers and spoken at conferences on economic policy in over a dozen countries around the globe. He holds a B.A. in economics from the University of California, Berkeley and obtained a master's degree in applied economics from Johns Hopkins University. He has served since 2002 as a director of the Fundación Internacional para la Libertad, a nonprofit foundation that promotes and defends free markets in Latin America.
