Dimensional Fund Advisors
Based in the Chicago office, Lawrence Spieth has one of the longest-running careers at Dimensional Fund Advisors. He joined the firm when it was founded in 1981 and has had many roles during his tenure. Currently, he is a vice president in the Institutional Services group, where his primary responsibilities include developing business with corporate and nonprofit organizations and providing quality service to Dimensional's existing clients. Money Management Letter recognized him for his efforts by naming him Client Service Executive of the Year for 2004.
Before coming to Dimensional, Lawrence was a vice president and pension consultant at A.G. Becker, Inc. (now SEI, Inc.). Previously, he worked at IBM. Lawrence holds an MBA from St. Louis University and a B.T. from the University of Dayton. Additionally, he sits on the board of directors for the American Endowment Foundation in Hudson, Ohio.
